Hand-knotted rugs, woven in many parts of Anatolia during the 1960s and 1970s—a period known as “Mid-century” in architecture and design—are being revitalized with new designs. From among thousands of rugs dating from this period, those in, so to speak, pristine condition are selected and prepared to find their place in modern homes after being dyed with vegetable dyes.
