The rug is the star of the room. The colors are amazing. The pile is extremely low, which makes it feel rugged underfoot. I chose a thick rug mat and it was a good choice. It was a very simple transaction. The rug initially had a scent, but I opened the windows in the room and it dissipated within about a day. Had it lingered I would have sprayed it with a vinegar/water mixture, but that wasn't necessary.
