Hand-knotted carpets, woven in many regions of Anatolia during the 1960s and 1970s—a period known as “Mid-century” in architecture and design—are being given a new lease on life. From among thousands of carpets from this era, those in—so to speak—mint condition are selected, re-dyed with vegetable dyes, and prepared to find their place in modern homes.
