Colored vintage rugs are produced from the youngest 50 years old Turkish authentic hand knotted rugs. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a unique process of colour neutralisation before being over-dyed in an exciting new colour. Pictures at this listing are exact photos of the rug. These rugs have been through a long process such as; shaving, bleaching, colorization, overdying, and sun drying. The result is a mix of traditional Turkish rugs have been turned into a contemporary vintage style. Each rug is unique by size and by color. The rugs are soaked in pools of boiling water with textile dyes. This dyes are TUV improved. We have test results for colour fastness, carcinogenic and azo substances from TUV. We can send it to you with your order if you wish to receive it.
