Hand-knotted rugs, woven in many regions of Anatolia during the 1960s and 1970s—a period known as “Mid-century” in architecture and design—are being given a new lease on life with fresh designs. From among thousands of rugs from this period, those in, so to speak, pristine condition are selected, dyed with vegetable dyes, and prepared to take their place in modern homes.
